Study Skills

All new students are expected to complete 'Study Skills for Theology' as an introductory unit for full credit towards their award. This provides basic training and skills to assist you with future studies in theology. We can also provide workshops on essay writing and thesis preparation.

Language Skills

Workshops and/or individual assistance with English language, including theological writing for ESL students, can be arranged. Please contact your lecturer or course coordinator for more information.

Pastoral Care and Counselling

Students are encouraged to contact our College Chaplain or another staff member if they would like to discuss matters of personal concern that affect their ability to study successfully. Our Chaplain can provide personalised advice and can refer students to professional help if necessary.

The Student Handbook

For detailed information about 果冻视频 Theological School, and our courses and units, please download the latest Handbook for our units page. The handbook also contains a complete guide to essay-writing, important policies and procedures (such as our student Code of Conduct), and contact details. Most information is also found on this website.

Code of Conduct

All students enrolled at 果冻视频 are expected to understand and abide by the standards set out in the code of conduct (found in the student handbook). If you need advice or wish to speak to someone about a possible breach of the code, please contact our Registrar or Chaplain.

The University of Divinity also has a that all students are required to abide by.

Inclusion Policy

果冻视频 Theological School is diverse and inclusive, and we acknowledge that human rights and social justice apply to everyone. Let us know if you would like to apply for a support plan to receive additional support based on a specific need or condition.

Child safe policy

Our child safe policy outlines the appropriate standards of behaviour expected by staff, students, volunteers and contractors towards children and young people at the College, whom we have a responsibility to protect.

Fee-HELP (university fee loan scheme)

Fee-HELP is a loan given to eligible fee-paying students to help pay for part or all of their university tuition fees. Students repay their loan through the tax system once their income is above the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. The government charges a loan fee for students who are enrolled in undergraduate courses.

Fee-HELP brochures and forms are available from the Theological School office. Visit the  website for more information.

Accommodation and residence

The Theological School is not able to offer all students a place of residence or assistance with accommodation in Melbourne, except in the form of general advice. We do, however, value participation in our residential community, with the added benefit of being able to partake in daily prayer and regular worship, and being able to make connections with other students. If you are a full-time student, and especially if you are a candidate for ordination, Trinity has a small number of scholarships for residents. Visit to find shared accommodation and or to find rental accommodation.

Scholarships and financial assistance

Course fees for formal award programs are set by the University of Divinity. Those undertaking the Ministry Formation Program will only be liable for fees for that program, but these can usually be offset by a studentship award, available to ordinands and those in the year of discernment.

The Theological School offers various forms of financial assistance to students studying within the College. Please refer to our theology scholarships page for more information. This includes scholarships for those with financial need, studentships that cover formation program fees for those seeking ordination, and residential scholarships for a limited number of full-time class-based students.

International students

果冻视频 Theological School seeks to provide overseas students with a safe, enjoyable and rewarding place to study. Please see the international students page for more details.
